CM RUPANI LAUNCHES COMMAND AND CONTROL CENTRE FOR SCHOOLS
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has launched the ‘Command and Control Centre for Schools’ system for Education Department’s various projects like Shala Praveshotsav 2.0
Gunotsav 2.0 is aimed at tracking and verifying attendance of students and teachers and their location through geofencing with the application of GPS.
The data collected through this will help make policies that will help improve education. The ultimate focus is on making the education system efficient and monitoring easy for the officials.
Along with encouraging regularity and quality in education as tablets provided by the state government to Block and Cluster Resource Coordinators,
it makes work paperless and fast, it will also establish a sense of responsibility under supervision. This real-time monitoring is vital for the transparent functioning of the system.
The new technology should prove to be a blessing for Gujarat to become a role model in education in the country,
with digitization and innovation in teaching methods and quality of education and equip the next generation with the right education to face challenges, necessary to build a prosperous state and nation.
